Due to Hurricane Florence, the Adult 65 & Over League Section Championship has been postponed to September 28-30, 2018.

USTA Mid-Atlantic welcomes players to the 2018 Adult 65 & Over League Section Championships. There will be more than 200 participants in Midlothian, Virginia competing for the title of Section Champion. We look forward to a fun and exciting weekend of tennis.
This three-day event will bring together the top teams in the USTA League Adult 65 & Over Divisions in a variety of skill levels. Teams from across the Mid-Atlantic Section, including Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C., will compete to get one step closer to the 2018 USTA League National Adult 65 & Over Invitational.ADVERTISEMENT

HOST PLAYING SITE
The main host site for Adult 65 & Over is Midlothian Tennis Club (site map). They offer many activities on their 4 indoor and 12 outdoor clay courts such as classes and clinics. The indoor facility houses a full pro shop carrying popular brands such as Babolat and Head and the latest stringing equipment. This center also offers racquet stringing, ball machine and backboard rental. They are located at 3650 Brandermill Pkwy, Midlothian, VA 23112.
HOST HOTEL INFORMATION
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Marriott is the host hotel. They are providing a rate of $123 plus taxes to players participating in the 2018 Adult 65 & Over League Section Championships. This rate includes a complimentary hot breakfast. Hotel reservations can be made by contacting the hotel at 804-447-8326 and request the USTA rate.
USTA Mid-Atlantic can always use help in the form of volunteers for large-scale events like the Section Championships. If you have time or know someone that does (even just a couple of hours), we can use you! There are a variety of tournament responsibilities we can use volunteer assistance with, including tournament operations and court monitors. If you would like to help, or know someone that could, please e-mail the Tournament Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Captains and players can register via RainedOut.com to receive phone or email alerts during the tournament.
Players and teams are encouraged to interact with us on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram platforms all year long at your local levels, Regional Championships and Section League Championship tournaments. The Twitter and Instagram hashtags will be "USTAMAS" and "USTAMASLeagues." Be sure to RSVP to our Facebook event page to get the inside scoop on the event and share your #RoadToSectionals.
