National Ranking Information
It is the goal of the USTA to provide a ranking system that is easy to understand, encourages play and reflects participation.
There was no minimum number of tournaments that players must compete in to achieve a ranking in 2016. Instead, a player’s ranking is determined based on their performances in as few as one and in a maximum of three tournaments for the given ranking year.
