What is JTT?

Junior Team Tennis is designed for kids ages 6-18 and offers players the opportunity to compete with their friends in a fun, team atmosphere. With nearly 100,000 players competing nationwide, JTT brings players together to enjoy camaraderie and teamwork, providing a fun environment for kids to learn that succeeding is really more about how they play the game - win or lose.

USTA Northern California currently offers leagues ranging from the recreational level, which includes R.O.G.Y. ball progression, all the way up to the competitive level with highly ranked/rated players competing.

Players/Parents

 

1. USTA NorCal currently offers JTT leagues in certain areas/seasons. Before you request more information about a JTT league in your area, please CLICK HERE to view current JTT leagues that includes more specific information for each area.

2. If you are a player that is looking to join a team/league in your area, complete the USTA JTT Interested Player/Parent Form and a USTA staff member will contact you about USTA Junior Team Tennis opportunities in your area within a few business days.

3. Once you are ready to register for a USTA JTT team or league, a current USTA Membership will be required. CLICK HERE to sign up or renew a USTA membership.

4. If you are a player that already has a team and your team captain has provided you with your Team ID Number, you can register for the team in TennisLink by CLICKING HERE.

 

Captains

 

1. If you are interested in fielding a JTT team, first CLICK HERE to view a current list of JTT league offerings in your area. This includes the different seasons, age divisions/levels, and days of play in each area.

2. Ensure that you have completed the USTA SafePlay program and are cleared to captain/coach a team. You are not able to register/captain a team without completing this requirement.

3. Once you are ready to register a team(s), CLICK HERE to get started.

4. If you already have registered a team and are looking to login to TennisLink to manage your team, CLICK HERE.

 

Organizers

 

1. Recruit at least 12 players for your league.

2. Complete Steps 1-3 for the USTA Safeplay background screening process found HERE.

3. Fill out the Junior Team Tennis Local League Organizer agreement found HERE.

4. Email the Junior Team Tennis department at jrteamtennis@norcal.usta.com with the contract and find out the next steps.
