The Icy Hot Southern Junior Cup, formerly the Junior Davis/Fed Cup, was created to give juniors the opportunity to experience the thrill and camaraderie of tennis as a team sport.

2018

It only took 26 years but, for the first time, a team other than Georgia has won the USTA Southern Junior Cup presented by Icy Hot. South Carolina's team won the 14s-18s team competition 16-11. 

For the first 25 years, teenagers from the section's largest state won the cup. ADVERTISEMENT But, in 2018, South Carolina swept the three mixed doubles matches. Also, the Palmetto State players held a 10-8 edge in singles. The six matches in boys' and girls' doubles were split.
