Are you more the weekend warrior type, or do you just prefer old school, one-on-one warfare instead of team-based play? USTA Southwest holds tournaments across the Section throughout the year for players in NTRP levels and age divisions, including wheelchair divisions at a few select tournaments.

Age division play gives you the chance to test your tennis mettle over the course of a weekend. Your results can also get you on the way towards a Section RANKING and, possibly, even a national ranking.

Tournaments typically take place from Friday-Sunday of many weekends throughout the year, though it varies by tournament. There are a wide variety of adult tournaments, both in NTRP and age division categories of play. There are also Open events, family divisions, wheelchair events and non-sanctioned events, charity events, professional events and other types. ADVERTISEMENT USTA Southwest also offers our 'Slam Series' of tournaments, our top four surface section championship events for adults.

Consult the TennisLink schedule  and follow the dropdowns to find tournaments by age, NTRP or location.

Tournament directors interested in hosting new tournaments? Tournament directors must submit a USTA Southwest sanction form prior to hosting your event each year for your tournament to show up online in the TennisLink system. For more info about hosting tournaments in your area, contact the USTA Southwest Adult Competition Manager at payne@southwest.usta.com.
