SUPER CHAMPIONSHIP

(SCMZ)

SUPER CHAMPIONSHIP

(SCMZ)

The Super Championship (Super Champ) division is the highest level of junior play in Texas. It is for players who have qualified from the Championship (Champs) division. Newly qualified Super Champ players are eligible enter their first Super Champ Major Zone (SCMZ) tournament in the month following their qualification from Champs.

The SCMZ Schedule provides players with one SCMZ tournament opportunity each month. Super Champ-eligible players may play in every SCMZ, but they cannot sign up for more than one SCMZ tournament over the same sanction period. Please note that these tournaments are broken down by age – different age divisions may be held at different locations on different dates.

Only Super Champ-eligible players are allowed to play in the Singles divisions of SCMZs. Although Challenger and Champs players cannot participate in Singles SCMZ events, they may play in the Doubles divisions of SCMZs only if they sign up with a Super Champ-eligible player.
