Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame welcomes three new members

 

DENVER, CO September 27, 2022 – After a year absence due to the pandemic, the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame Gala returns in person on November 12, at The Cable Center in Denver. 

 

At the event, the 22nd class of inductees will be enshrined into the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame and USTA Colorado will honor 14 recipients with annual awards celebrating on and off-court accomplishments and service to the tennis community.    

 

2022 Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame Inductees: 

In all, three individuals will be welcomed into the Hall of Fame, which was established in 2000 to recognize Colorado’s rich tennis heritage. Brothers Luke and Clancy Shields (Grand Junction, CO) and Virginia Dunn Smith Kraut (Denver, CO) will be inducted at the Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame Gala, scheduled for Saturday, November 12 at the Cable Center, located adjacent to the University of Denver campus.

 

The festivities include a cocktail reception followed by dinner, a live auction and the program. Dollars raised benefit the Colorado Youth Tennis Foundation. Information and tickets available here.
