Dale Evans Receives USTA/USPTA Community Service Award at NEXT Generation: A Tennis Innovation Workshop powered by USTA & USPTA
ORLANDO, Fla – Dale Evans received the USTA/USPTA Community Service Award during the Awards Luncheon at the NEXT Generation: A Tennis Innovation Workshop powered by USTA & USPTA on Friday, Oct. 13.
The Community Service Award is a cooperative award presented annually by the United States Tennis Association as part of the USPTA’s awards program. The award recognizes a USPTA member for exceptional community service through the game of tennis.
Evans has dedicated his life to tennis both professionally and personally. ADVERTISEMENT Dale successfully played junior tennis and college tennis. He has been a tennis coach for over ten years and currently works at the Claremont Resort & Spa. When not at the Claremont, he works with USTA NorCal on camps, travel teams, zonal teams and much more. He is also a very dedicated volunteer at USTA NorCal giving countless hours of his personal time. He has served as chair of the Diversity Committee and Junior Council and now sits on the USTA NorCal Board of Directors.
The USPTA National Awards program is conducted annually. Nominations are submitted by the organization’s 17 divisions and by individuals. Recipients in each category are decided by the USPTA Awards Committee.
