USTA NorCal celebrates Day of the Dead in San Jose
NorCal Staff | October 6, 2016
San Jose’s 7th Annual Día de Los Muertos Festival will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 11am – 6pm at St. James Park in San Jose.
Día De Los Muertos, also called Day of The Dead, is a 3,000 year old celebration of life - in Mexico and other Latin American Countries – where the spirits of all deceased family and friends are allowed to reunite with their families for 24 hours. Día San José is a culmination of family, entertainment and most of all fun! Throughout the night, we sing, dance, laugh and celebrate our loved ones.
As part of our Hispanic outreach and engagement strategy, USTA NorCal will be on site providing local programming information, fun tennis activities and great tennis giveaways! The aim is to connect local tennis programming with attendees, as well as show that USTA NorCal is a welcoming and inclusive sport. ADVERTISEMENT
We’d love for you to join us and inspire others to become part of the USTA family.
