USTA Northern California to Headline the 22nd Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival
ALAMEDA, Calif. — September 19, 2017 — For the first time, the U.S. Tennis Association Northern California (USTA NorCal) will be a major sponsor at the 22nd Annual Hong Kong - Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival September 23-24, at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA.
The Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival is free and will run Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. USTA NorCal is bringing tennis to the Dragon Boat Festival in the Sports Zone at Dragon Land Powered by Net Generation. Tennis games and activities for all ages will be provided along with a fast serve booth to clock your serve speed with prizes for the top speeds.ADVERTISEMENT
USTA NorCal will also have a membership booth where you’ll be able to find information about our programs for all ages and abilities, as well as sign up for a membership. Kids 10 & under receive a free 1-year membership to USTA!
USTA NorCal couldn’t miss out on the racing experience, so we will compete in our own boat with a team made of USTA staff, tennis league players, and volunteers.
