Net Generation Kids Day at the 2017 Bank of the West Classic

On July 31, 2017 over 350 kids attended its Net Generation Kids Day at the Bank of the West Classic!

It was a fun filled day with interactive tennis games, festive music, prizes, fun competitions, a serving-speed booth, balloonist, and face painters.

In addition to the festivities, the participating grass-roots organizations and tennis programs were treated to free day session tickets to the tournament, an event most would not otherwise have an opportunity to do.

The kids also got a chance to meet and hit against two of the WTA players, line up for autographs and get up and close for an intimate Q&A session.

The day concluded with food provided by Medina Catering.

USTA NorCal invited groups from all over the Bay Area, which included the Latino Family Fund of Gilroy, Four Directions Tennis, Magic Zone, City of Fresno Parks and Rec and many more who work with inner-city youth. ADVERTISEMENT These community groups are dedicated to families and children while celebrating the value and importance of tennis and education part of a healthy development of the child and community at large.

Event was hosted by USTA NorCal in collaboration with IMG, Stanford University and USTA Net Generation.
