USTA NorCal at Dia San Jose
Día De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead is a 3000 year old tradition celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American Countries. It is a celebration of life where the spirits of all deceased family and friends are allowed to reunite with their families for 24 hours.
Día San Jose has a long tradition of celebrating Día De Los Muertos and highlighted not only century old traditions, but also created new ones.
On October 22, USTA NorCal was at Día San José as part of our Hispanic outreach and engagement strategy. The aim was connect local tennis programming with attendees as well as show that USTA NorCal is a welcoming and inclusive sport.
On hand we promoted USTA NorCal local tennis programming, ran a tennis area for kids and had lots of prizes to giveaway!
It was a culmination of tennis, family and fun!
