Attention Net Generation Certified Coaches!
You are invited to the USTA Net Generation Coaches’ Workshop at La Camarilla Racquet, Fitness and Swim Club in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 20th. to be held during the Southwest USPTA/USTA Conference. The workshop will be conducted by Craig Jones, USTA SENIOR DIRECTOR, USTA- EDUCATION, TRAINING and RESOURCES.
NET GENERATION COACHES' WORKSHOP – A USPTA SPECIALTY COURSE (2 Credits)
The Net Generation Coaches' Workshop is a 4 hour course conducted by USTA National faculty on the use of the Net Generation Coaches’ Curriculum. The Curriculum features competencies to serve as a roadmap for players and parents, practice and play plans for on-court, and assessments to evaluate players.
The workshop will utilize experiential learning - all coaches take part in on-court activities to review the lesson plans, and participate in peer teaching exercises. ADVERTISEMENT The goal is for each coach to be able to deliver the plans and implement into their own programs.
Craig will also be presenting these Net Generation Seminars during the Southwest USPTA/USTA full conference (at La Camarilla Racquet, Fitness and Swim Club in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 18-20th):
GROWING YOUR PROGRAMS AND BOTTOM LINE
This session will focus on utilizing the free Net Generation Coaches Resources to attract more players, increase retention, and improve overall quality of the attendee’s junior programs.
TAKING IT TO THE COURT
This session will focus on the practical application of the Net Generation Coaches Curriculum. Attendees will observe red and orange ball players in action, and assess the players using the Net Generation Coaches' App.
· Coaches are put in groups to evaluate
· Players are red ball (able to serve, rally, score) and Orange Ball (JTT and Youth Progression competitors)
