10 And Under Tennis Facility Resources

The Rules of Tennis have changed for kids 10 and under!  Effective January 1, 2010, all 8 and Under sanctioned tournaments and USTA Jr. Team Tennis must take place on 36' courts.  Effective January 1, 2012, all 10 and Under sanctioned tournaments and USTA Jr. Team Tennis must take place on 60' courts.  The USTA is here to assist you with updating your existing courts, lining playgrounds, and constructing new dedicated Kids Tennis facilities to help keep you in the game! Tennis Night Makes History With Blended Lines

For the first time in history, 60-foot blended lines were placed on a 78-foot regulation court used for a pro match. The matches, featuring Ivan Lendl vs. John McEnroe and Pete Sampras vs. Andre Agassi, took place at MSG on Feb. 28th during ESPN2’s live broadcast of the BNP Paribas Showdown, the crown jewel in the "Tennis Night in America" celebration.
