Each year the District honors dedicated individuals and organizations for their service and support of the District's mission to grow, develop and service the sport of tennis.

President’s Award:

Matthew Damschroeder

Family of the Year Award:

Lee & Sara Johnson Family

This award is presented to the family in the district that has contributed the most toward tennis through the years.  The family whose members are involved in tennis at various levels, serving our district, promoting and perpetuating the development of tennis at all levels.

Oak Favro Jr. Sportsmanship Award: 

Nick Miller

This award recognizes the outstanding junior player(s) who upholds the code of conduct of tennis, character and standards of sportsmanship.

55 or 65 & Over Captain of the Year Award: 

Sondra Gibbons

This award recognizes the outstanding male or female senior captain from NWOTA.

18 or 40 & Over Captain of the Year Award: 

Jim Jacobs

This award recognizes the outstanding male or female adult tennis captain from NWOTA.

Junior Player of the Year Award: 

Maddie Peisley & Isaac Vens

This award recognizes the outstanding male or female junior tennis player from the district in tournament and competitive play.

USTA Adult League Team of the Year Award: 

8.0 Mixed King Team

This award would recognize the top team from any of NWOTA district league play.

Rob Donnelly Umpire of the Year Award: 

Dan Klein

This award recognizes an individual who has displayed outstanding attributes as an umpire in NWO district.

High School Coach of the Year Award: 

Jill Feltner

This award recognizes the high school coach who has helped develop the game of tennis through their involvement at any level. The person being nominated does not to be one of a high-level team, but one who has demonstrated efforts to help grow the game. The only requirement is that the school or coach be a member of the USTA. The district will verify membership.
