PRESENTED AT

USTA Semiannual Meeting & Conference, held annually in New York, in conjunction with the US Open.

 

ELIGIBILITY

A junior player in good standing.

 

CRITERIA

1) A junior player who holds a current USTA Membership and is in good standing. 2) The information submitted must be for play completed before the nominee's 19th birthday. The nominee must be 18 or under on January 1 of the year in which the award is beinf presented. 3) A junior player who exemplifies the finest qualities of sportsmanship in tournament play and the finest traditions of the great sportspersons of tennis past and present.  In evaluating the Bill Talbert Junior Sportsmanship Award nominations, the USTA Awards Committee will take into consideration only the information that pertains to the criteria of the award.

 

SELECTION PROCESS

Each section may submit one nominee to the USTA Awards Committee.
