USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Library Information and Instructions

Thank you for your interest in acquiring a USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Library!

Our goal is to answer your questions, along with supplying easy instructions for assembling and installing your USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Library.

The USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Library makes it easy to try tennis without owning or purchasing equipment. Simply open it up, borrow tennis racquets and balls to enjoy playing, and then return the equipment to share the opportunity with others.

Tennis is always open for everyone. Check it out...and then return it!

It is a courtside equipment storage receptacle allowing players to play tennis without owning equipment.

It combines a storage box with a USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Library Decal and Hardware Kit. The kit includes one front-panel decal, two side-panel decals, a hand applicator squeegee, and one large U-bolt for installation. Tennis equipment is not included and must be collected or purchased. We ask you to supply racquets and balls to “Pack the Library”!

It can be stocked in a variety of ways! The USTA Missouri Valley Library should offer equipment to help community members experience tennis through what is available. USTA Missouri Valley suggests offering a variety of tennis racquets and low-compression tennis balls for a variety of people to experience tennis.

We’ve seen success through a “Pack the Library” or “Play It Forward” equipment donation drive with collection sites. Organizing a used equipment drive is also a great way to raise awareness of the Tennis Library while involving others, bringing community members, groups, organizations, and businesses together around a common cause.

Low-compression tennis balls are specially designed, slower, and lower-bouncing balls, making tennis fun, successful, and accessible to everyone!

Since shorter racquets and lower-compression balls can be used by everyone, they welcome people of varying ages and abilities to have fun playing tennis together. In short, this equipment makes playing tennis easier!

Red Ball Tennis has been reimagined by the USTA to bring new players to courts and have them playing tennis in 10 minutes. Designed as a fun experience, Red Ball Tennis can supercharge the enjoyment and success of players.

As USTA Missouri Valley Tennis Libraries are added throughout the section, we'll update this information. Stay tuned!
