WHAT IS SAFE PLAY?

The USTA expects individuals to adhere to Safe Play policies and standards, as well as all other USTA policies, procedures and practices and applicable external laws and regulations. Safe Play consists of the following three-step process:

Step 1: Complete the online training module.

Step 2: Acknowledge and accept the USTA Safe Play Conduct, Policies, and Guidelines.

Step 3:  Complete Your Background Screen Application.

TO BEGIN:

All Net Generation providers and USTA Junior Team Tennis volunteers and coordinators must navigate to https://netgeneration.usta.com/ and select “Become a Provider” to begin the registration process, which includes all Safe Play components. For more information on how to become a Junior Team Tennis captain or coordinator, please click here.

All individuals seeking certification as a USTA Certified Official, please contact the Officiating Department for details on the process.

All other individuals seeking Safe Play compliance, please reach out to your USTA contact for additional information.
