These certification workshops are designed for current teaching tennis professionals or aspiring teaching professionals. We have partnered with the USPTA and can provide wheelchair tennis licensure added on to your current USPTA license.

PTR tennis professionals are, of course, welcome, but the USTA does not have an agreement with the PTR in order to certify their members.

With support from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Disabled Sports USA has partnered with USTA National Wheelchair Tennis Staff to offer training at no cost for tennis instructors, VA staff, DSUSA chapters and other sport providers who serve disabled veterans, at no cost to the veterans, to give tennis instruction to wheelchair tennis players.

Eligible participants can apply for an equipment grant to acquire sport chairs for their program and receive USPTA Wheelchair Tennis Certification at no cost through this course.
