The USTA Mid-Atlantic has launched the “MAS Promise” to recognize indoor tennis facilities that are committed to high levels of safety protocols. When people see the “MAS Promise” displayed on a tennis business’s website or facility, they will know that the facility has committed to safety standards for employees and customers.
The Meaning Behind the Promise:
The MAS Promise represents that an indoor facility:
Commits to following the facility and programming recommendations outlined by USTA
Implements proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures
Practices physical distancing within their facility
Requires employees to wear protective gear and expects customers to wear face coverings when physical distancing is not possible
Trained its employees on the safety measures needed for safe opening practices
Submitted a pledge commitment to ensure the safety of employees and patrons
Agrees to follow all future applicable health guidance as their state and local regions enter various phases of reopening
After the pledge process is complete, USTA Mid-Atlantic will provide the facility with a digital certificate and other materials that can be displayed so patrons know the facility is committed to safe practices.
Tennis facilities can begin the MAS Promise process by emailing community@mas.usta.com to learn more.

Multiple facilities have expressed interest in the MAS Promise program and are currently completing all steps to be recognized with the MAS Promise. Once all requirements have been completed, they will be listed on this page.
