USTA Southern hosted our Second Annual Southern Section Adaptive Championships, which returned to McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn., Nov. 14-16.

This year the championships added a Friday afternoon adaptive workshop for more than 16 individuals. The workshop was hosted by Jessica Weyreuter. She heads up Dream Court, a program based in Montgomery, Ala., that serves those with intellectual needs. Jim Hamm, USTA Southern and USTA Georgia Adaptive Committee Chair, also hosted the event.

The championships also added a fun night of dancing on Friday, with athletes and guests invited to dance the night away before play began Saturday morning.
