The Callen Cup

For some context: The women’s 35s, 45s, & 55s final was all North Carolina vs. Georgia (pictured above). It took Georgia winning all three matches to get earn a tie in women’s overall standings, let alone the two Georgia men's teams winning on Sunday. To show just how close this competition was, the women's 35s line 2 doubles was the final match. After split sets it went to a 10-point tiebreak. That result is what earned them the Mildred Southern Cup.

Huntsville Tennis Center to host tournament

The Callen Cup, a Level 4 Closed tournament, will be played at Huntsville Tennis Center, 2305 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, AL, 35801-5391, May 30-June 4.

• 65s & 75s will play Tuesday, May 30 - Friday, June 2. (Prelims only play on Tuesday at 3:30 CDT.)
• 35s, 45s & 55s will play Thursday, June 1 - Sunday, June 4. (Prelims only play on Thursday at 3:30 CDT.).
• Match times listed will be for singles play and once those lines are on court updated to the doubles times.
• Teams in preliminary matches will be posted on the draws and here on Friday, May 5.
