What is Advocacy in Southern?
¿Qué es la defensa del tenis?
Successful tennis advocacy involves building public support for tennis by showing decision-makers how the sport benefits individuals and the community. Our goal is to increase tennis programming, provide and preserve tennis courts and infrastructure, and turn the positive impact of tennis into action. Advocacy is about showing how strong tennis programs and facilities address community needs, support youth opportunities, improve quality of life, and strengthen communities.
Great advocacy starts with you. Players, parents, coaches, and fans all have the ability to advocate for tennis by sharing their passion and helping others understand the value the sport brings. The USTA provides resources and guidance, but advocates are the key to creating positive change and making tennis more accessible for everyone.
