USTA Oklahoma Perry gana los Juegos Olímpicos Nacionales para Personas Mayores
Richard Perry de Enid, Oklahoma, ganó recientemente la división 70en las Olimpiadas Nacionales para Mayores celebradas en Birmingham, Alabama. Era la primera vez que Perry participaba en las Olimpíadas para personas mayores. Perry estaba caminando por el Gran Cañón en octubre pasado cuando Oklahoma celebró su evento estatal, por lo que tuvo que ir a Arkansas, donde ganó el evento para calificar para los Nacionales. Aunque Perry prevaleció, dijo, "hubo varios partidos muy igualados que podrían haber ido en cualquier dirección". Perry derrotó a Arveal Turner en la final 6-2, 6-1.
