Los juveniles capturan l3 títulos nacionales

WESTBOROUGH, MA- Los juveniles de alto rendimiento de Nueva Inglaterra se destacaron en los torneos nacionales L3 USTA en todo el país del 22al24 de abril. Los jugadores locales ganaron títulos tanto en individuales como en dobles y se desempeñaron a un nivel extremadamente alto en todas las divisiones de edad.


Sam Feldman destacó en el campo masculino con victorias en individuales y dobles de 14 (con su compañero Andrew Ilie), y Page Freeman fue la de mejor desempeño para las niñas, ganando los campeonatos individuales de 16 .

Sam Feldman (Brookline, MA) - Campeón, 14s masculino en Longfellow Club en Wayland, MA. Derrotó a Andew Ilie en la final.
Page Freeman (Ashland, MA) - Campeona 16femenina en el Cary Leeds Center en Bronx, Nueva York. Freeman también se llevó a casa un premio al espíritu deportivo.

Nina Farhat (Southborough, MA) y Paulina Feoli (Short Hills, Nueva Jersey) - Finalistas, 14femeninas en Longfellow Club en Wayland, MA. Nina Farhat también ganó un premio a la deportividad.

    The Friendship Cup has a rich history and successful story of establishing international camaraderie and sisterhood both on and off the court. The tradition started in 1967 when Walter Foeger of Vermont was looking to establish competitive senior tennis play in alliance with the New England Lawn Tennis Association (NELTA), now USTA New England. He contacted George Barta of the Canadian senior division, and together, they created the Friendship Cup. In that year, players competed on three courts at the Jay Peak Resort in Vermont. Read More
