Patriots WR educa a jóvenes tenistas
CONCORD, NH- El receptor abierto de los New England Patriots, Malcolm Mitchell, pasó algún tiempo con jóvenes tenistas en New Hampshire, educándolos sobre el valor de la alfabetización y el vínculo con los deportes y más allá. El 28 de marzo, Mitchell, junto con su organización Read with Malcolm, habló en Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Concord sobre su nuevo libro para niños, "The Magician's Hat".
Reading with Malcolm tiene como objetivo transformar la vida de los niños a través de la alfabetización, algo que Mitchell experimentó de primera mano mientras crecía. En la historia, David, el Mago, comprende el poder mágico de los libros y la influencia positiva que pueden tener en los niños.
Mitchell habló con un total de cien niños de Advantage Kids, la Asociación de Tenis Comunitaria más grande de New Hampshire y el capítulo Nacional de Aprendizaje y Tenis Juvenil, miembros del club Boys & Girls y la comunidad local. Advantage Kids patrocinó el evento a través de una subvención de la USTA Nueva Inglaterra.
