Women In Tennis Together (WITT) es una serie de increíbles eventos inspiradores para mujeres jóvenes que juegan tenis en Nueva Inglaterra. Por cuarto año consecutivo, los jugadores pueden participar en uno de los seis eventos de tenis en Nueva Inglaterra. Estos eventos brindan a las niñas de secundaria un entrenamiento especializado de otras mujeres, así como una sesión de enriquecimiento con modelos femeninos que discuten el tenis como un camino hacia el éxito más allá de la cancha.
Los eventos de WITT son para jugadoras de tenis en los grados 9 - 12 secundaria que disfrutan de una competencia amistosa. Estos eventos son para celebrar a las mujeres en nuestro deporte. Un día en nuestro evento WITT consistirá en un partido de juego en la cancha, entrenamiento individual, juegos divertidos y una sesión de enriquecimiento fuera de la cancha. ¡Todos los entrenadores están certificados por Net Generation! Las chicas que han venido a nuestros eventos juegan Junior Team Tennis, juegan torneos de la USTA o en su equipo de secundaria.
Los jugadores deben registrarse. El evento tiene una tarifa de $ 5 . 00 ¡Esta tarifa incluye admisión al evento, refrigerios saludables, un regalo, actividades divertidas de tenis y un boleto GRATUITO para el Salón Internacional de la Fama del Tenis en Newport, RI, el viernes 19 y 2019 julio!

7 abril, 2019 - Western Massachusetts WITT- Ludlow Tennis Club, 40 Carmelinas Cir., Ludlow, MA. El evento es de 10 am a 1 pm.
18 mayo, 2019 - Connecticut WITT- Connecticut Tennis Center, 45 Yale Ave., New Haven, CT. El evento es de 10 am a 3 pm.
18 mayo, 2019 - Maine WITT- York Golf and Tennis, 62 Organug Rd., York, ME. El evento es de 1 a 5 pm.
18 mayo, 2019 - Este de Massachusetts WITT- Deportistas ' s Tennis & Enrichment Center, 950 Blue Hill Ave., Dorchester, MA. El evento es de 10 am a 2 pm.
19 , 2019 mayo - Rhode Island WITT- Bryant University- 1150 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917 . El evento es de 1 a 5 pm.
Nota: el registro se cerrará 72 horas antes del evento o cuando se llenen todos los lugares. Los jugadores pueden asistir a cualquier evento que esté abierto si su ubicación preferida está cerrada.

Congratulations to the July USTA League Captains of the Month, Sam Rubin, of Brookline, MA and Hilary Holm, of Whitefield, ME! Sam Rubin started as a Social Tennis League player, where he’s played in Boston area sites for years. It was there he found out about the opportunity to serve as a captain of the 18-39 league out of Eastern Mass. This past winter, Sam led his team, which competed at Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center in Dorchester, to a first-place finish. Read More -

The Friendship Cup has a rich history and successful story of establishing international camaraderie and sisterhood both on and off the court. The tradition started in 1967 when Walter Foeger of Vermont was looking to establish competitive senior tennis play in alliance with the New England Lawn Tennis Association (NELTA), now USTA New England. He contacted George Barta of the Canadian senior division, and together, they created the Friendship Cup. In that year, players competed on three courts at the Jay Peak Resort in Vermont. Read More
