2011 Year in Review: Juniors

Grace Min had a career year in 2011, winning two Grand Slam titles, including the US Open girls' singles championship and the Wimbledon girls' doubles title. The 17-year-old Georgia native, who is currently ranked No. 6 in the ITF World Junior Rankings, also reached semifinals at both the USTA International Spring Championships and Easter Bowl.

The future of American tennis appears to be bright, as a number of American juniors posted outstanding results in 2011.
Leading the way was Grace Min, who won the Wimbledon girls' doubles title and the US Open girls' singles championship, and Bjorn Fratangelo, who became the first American to win the French Open boys' singles crown since John McEnroe in 1977. Two-time defending USTA National Champion Jack Sock and Marcos Giron also had excellent years, as did Gabrielle Andrews and Victoria Duval, who won the first pro matches of their young careers.
