Four standout tennis advocates from the USTA Middle States Section were inducted into the Middle States Hall of Fame on Thursday, Oct. 17th. The group includes Shari Bucklin-Webber, Virgil Christian, Ann LoPrinzi and Dan Faber.

The 24th Middle States Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Auction took place at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. Close to 150 individuals attended the event.
The USTA Middle States Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Auction takes place every two years and rotates each year among the six Middle States Districts.
Funds raised benefit the United States Tennis Association Foundation, which supports junior tennis programs around the country. ADVERTISEMENT Funds raised at the Middle States Hall of Fame are earmarked for programming in the Middle States Section (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia).
Established in 1994, the prestigious Hall now boasts 111 inductees, including tennis legend and women’s rights pioneer Billie Jean King, and former USTA Presidents Jane Brown Grimes, Merv Heller, Judy Levering, Dave Haggerty and Martin Tressel. The event provides an opportunity for all who love the game of tennis to celebrate the past and support the future.
