As we kick off 2024, USTA Middle States proudly celebrates 100 years of local tennis — encompassing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia. With this in mind, Middle States is organizing and supporting special events throughout the year, while looking back on key moments and the incredible people who line our history. We’ll also explore all that’s still to come as our section looks ahead. Thank you for being such an important part of tennis in Middle States! We hope you continue to stay involved in 2024 and find even more reasons to play, watch, and share the sport we all love.
2024 Tennis Celebration: Hall of Fame & Tennis Conference
On October 17 & 18, 2024 at Dupont Country Club, Middle States will induct deserving, influential individuals into the Middle States Hall of Fame. These individuals have positively contributed to the growth of tennis in the Section. The following day, Middle States will host The Tennis Conference, which is an opportunity for tennis teaching professionals, directors, volunteers, non-profit organizers and others in the industry to come together for a day of education and networking.

2024 Calendar of Events
To help recognize the history of tennis in our section, we made a calendar
of 100 special tennis events held either by USTA Middle States or a local
organization, taking place throughout the year. We’d love for you to be involved
and attend one of these events! Want your event shown on this calendar? Host an event too!
Giving Back
We’re launching our “Gives Back” initiative as we begin 2024, raising funds for the USTA Foundation while also contributing to community service efforts in each of our six districts. Funds raised for the USTA Foundation are earmarked for use by community tennis providers in Middle States, benefitting programs and youth from across the section. Meanwhile, community-based charitable efforts include involvement with local food banks and services, among other special events.
