The Nevada Tennis Association is committed to the promotion, growth and development of tennis as an enjoyable, lifetime sport that contributes to good health, character, and responsible citizenship.
The Nevada Tennis Association encourages all people who play, watch, support, or enjoy the game of tennis to participate in its events, programs, membership, leadership, and activities on a non-discriminatory basis.
Promote and develop junior tennis at all levels of participation.
Provide a good atmosphere for communications within the Nevada Tennis Association encouraging cooperation and measuring the feedback to promote program and service improvement.
Promote sportsmanship in Junior and Adult events with increased emphasis on the “fun” of playing tennis.
Goals:
Provide leadership for the development and delivery of quality tennis programs and services that best serve the communities that make up the Nevada Tennis Association.
Promote unity in the tennis community and to recognize the importance of our individual members, organization members, tennis professionals and sponsors
Promote and develop scholarship dollars for junior tennis players who can demonstrate need as well as sportsmanship and leadership within the tennis community.
Develop a matrix management structure of volunteers to ensure our membership gains the maximum satisfaction for our programs and services.
Work with the state and local government and private industry in the utilization and development of tennis courts.
Expand senior tennis activities and participation in competitive as well as recreational events.
Monitor and measure our operations to ensure the delivery of quality and value-added services to the majority of our membership.
