USTA Midwest Meetings

Annual Meeting (In Person)

January 26-27 , 2024
Hyatt Regency Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH

Meeting registration deadline: Wednesday, December 20, 2023

Hotel reservation deadline: Saturday, January 6, 2024

On behalf of the Board of Directors for the USTA Midwest, I am thrilled to extend a warm invitation to you for the 128th USTA Midwest Annual Meeting. This year, we're moving the excitement from Indianapolis to the Queen City, Cincinnati, on the heels of the announcement that the professional tennis tournament is staying in the area.

The stage is set for a remarkable meeting filled with learning opportunities, insights from our section's movers and shakers and a captivating USTA Midwest Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday night. Join us as we celebrate incredible inductees who have been pioneers for our section and the sport.

I'm particularly excited about hosting the meeting in Cincinnati because this city has a special place in my heart. More than 30 years ago, I spent countless hours in the back of my mom’s electric blue Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme shuttling to and from junior tournaments in the Queen City. During that time, the area was a hotbed for some of the best junior competition, so it’s where my mom took me to be humbled. I was humbled a lot on those weekends. Today, it continues to uphold its legacy of strong junior players.

What excites me even more is witnessing the efforts of organizations throughout Greater Cincinnati whose efforts have grown and continue to grow the game at the grassroots level. These efforts align closely with our strategic plan and mission, “To innovate, promote and grow the game of tennis.” These organizations and the hundreds of others throughout the section excite me the most about the opportunities ahead.

Our Annual Meeting is more than just an event; it's a gathering of our tennis family. In this season of Thanksgiving and winter holidays, where we travel miles to be with our loved ones, the Annual Meeting provides a similar sense of belonging. While not rooted in the same historical or religious significance, it represents that special time each year when we come together to share stories, learn, support one another and unite behind the sport that brings us joy.

I am genuinely excited about the upcoming meeting and the opportunity to spend this time with my tennis family. Your contributions and dedication to tennis are deeply appreciated, and I look forward to the memorable moments we'll create together.

Thank you for everything you do, and see you in Cincinnati!
