Missouri Valley Grants
2026 Grant Funding Update
USTA Missouri Valley has exhausted its available Section grant funding for 2026. Therefore, there will be no additional application deadlines for Serving Up Tennis Section grants during the remainder of the year, including the previously listed October 16 deadline.
Applications will continue to be accepted only for the following grant categories:
- District Grants, subject to each district’s individual deadlines, eligibility requirements, and available funding
- Serving Up Tennis Grant - Tennis Library
- Adaptive Programming Assistance Grants
- Pro-Circuit Assistance Grants
Organizations interested in one of these remaining opportunities should review the grant-specific guidelines within the application before submitting. Additional Section grant opportunities and deadlines will be announced when funding becomes available for 2027.
USTA Missouri Valley offers grants to assist organizations in initiating or expanding their tennis programming activities. The section offers a variety of grants that support this initiative, and you can find them below.
In question #11 below you will be able to choose the grant category (District or Section level) that you would like to complete, and it will initiate the application.
You will find the guidelines associated with each grant when you select the category.
You will need to complete one grant application for each category you wish to receive grant funding.
USTA District Level Grants:
Organizations may apply for grants directly from their USTA District. If you do not know what district your organization resides in, please click here.
You may apply for both district and section grants if the need for funds is there and you can account for all funds received.
You must submit separate applications for each grant you are requesting.
USTA St. Louis District Grant Guidelines:
GRANT PURPOSE
USTA St. Louis is committed to promoting tennis at the local level. We offer a variety of grants to assist USTA Member Organizations to initiate, expand and improve your tennis programming activities.
DISTRICT GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINES
- Friday, April 10
- Friday, July 10
- Friday, August 28
Applicants will be notified of grant decisions within 30 days of the application deadline.
GRANT ELIGIBILITY: Financial support will be awarded to current USTA Member Organizations only; applications by individuals will not be accepted. Applying organizations must be open to the public, regardless of race, color, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, citizenship, or veteran status.
GRANT GUIDELINES: Applications: Must be submitted online
Grant applicants must submit one grant application per type of grant being requested; more than one type of grant can be requested per program (e.g., if you request a community development grant AND an equipment grant for the same program two applications are required).
Grant applicants may submit multiple requests for different types of grants, provided each request is for a distinct
program. For example, you can apply for an equipment grant for a summer program and submit a separate request for
an equipment grant for a fall program.Approval of one grant request does not guarantee approval of additional grant requests. Total grant awards will be capped at $5,000 per USTA Member Organization per calendar year.
All grant applications must include a completed W-9 form. Program grants require a detailed description of goals,
objectives, evaluation methods, and a budget. Facility enhancement grants require a detailed project description and
budget. Applications are accepted online only and must be complete to be considered.
GRANT TYPES
Community Development -- up to $2,500
For programming to support the growth of tennis opportunities through summer camps, clinics, open play and social activities. This grant will be disbursed in two payments: 50% upon award and 50% upon completion of the program and submission of the Grant Accountability Form.
Provider Innovation -- up to $500
For providers to assist with innovative ways to promote your existing USTA programs. This could include Team Challenges, Junior Team Tennis, officials (or court monitors), tournaments, leagues, etc.
Equipment -- up to $500
For CTAs, schools and school partners, to supplement Net Generation School Tennis and assist with right-sized tennis equipment including mini-nets, low compression balls, shorter racquets and throw-down lines. Also, for USTA Adaptive and/or Wheelchair modified balls, nets and training equipment.
Facility Enhancements -- up to $1,000
For facilities to assist with court repairs, accessories including score devices, permanent court lines, benches, nets, etc. Depending on the project, this grant may be disbursed in two payments: 50% upon award and 50% upon completion of the project and submission of the Grant Accountability Form.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Upon completing your program/project, you must submit a Grant Accountability Form no later than 11/1/2026. Failure to submit the form will result in denial of future funding. For grants issued in two payments, the form must be submitted
before the second payment can be disbursed. When completing the form please share your program/project impact on
your community. We highly encourage you to upload pictures or documents that showcase your work as well.

USTA Oklahoma is committed to promoting tennis at the local level. To that end, we offer grants to assist member organizations to initiate or expand their tennis programming. Our long-term goal is to help programs become self-sufficient. USTA Oklahoma District Grants are open year round.
GRANT ELIGIBILITY:
Financial support will be awarded to current USTA member organizations; applications by individuals will not be accepted. Applying organizations must be open to the public, regardless of race, color, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, citizenship, or veteran status.
GRANT GUIDELINES:
Grant Applicants must show how it plans to become self-sufficient by generating their own funding to continue to offer the program.
Grant Applicants must submit a complete grant application that includes a detailed description of the program, objectives, evaluation methods, and a program budget along with a W9.
Applying for a grant is a one-time application; grants may be submitted for subsequent projects within the same calendar year; however, approval for one grant does not guarantee approval of future grant requests.
Grant Applicants must return a program-end accountability form, within two weeks of the conclusion of the program and prior to requesting additional funding.
CATEGORIES OF DISTRICT GRANTS:
USTA Junior Play
Providers targeting players 18 & under enhance the quality of the events, including Team Challenges, Junior Team Tennis, WTN Events and Junior Circuits. Matching Up to $150/event.
Tennis on Campus
For Colleges & Universities to increase tennis participation on campus; increase the regular use of campus tennis facilities; and increase interest in college varsity tennis programs. Up to $250/semester.
Adult Social Events
For Providers targeting players 18-39; fun, flexible formats (millennial events; social leagues; play-based programs) with competition while keeping the focus on fun, meeting new people, and hanging out with friends. Up to $150/event.
Facility Enhancement
For Facilities to assist with court accessories, including: score devices, benches, etc. Matching Up to $1,500.
Schools Tennis Grant
For SCHOOLS / SCHOOL PARTNERS to supplement Net Generation School Tennis and assist with right-sized tennis equipment including mini-nets, low-compression balls, shorter racquets and throw-down lines. Up to $500 in value.

USTA Nebraska District Grants
This grant supports groups or organizations located in the USTA Nebraska district that are providing programs and/or events that grow or promote tennis in their local areas.
Cycle One: January 1 - April 30
Cycle Two: May 1 - November 15
All grants must be submitted online
Grant applications will be reviewed and awarded as they are received during grant cycles, or until annual funds are exhausted.

Program grants may be up to $1,000.

The USTA Iowa grant application for 2026 is now closed, as all available funds have been exhausted. Please check back at the beginning of 2027 for future application opportunities.
The USTA Heart of America district is committed to promoting tennis at the local level. To that end, we offer grants to assist member organizations to initiate or expand their tennis programming activities. Our long-term goal is to help programs become self-sufficient.
Application Process: Applications must be submitted ON-LINE
Grant Deadline: Grant award notification dates will be Feb 13, April 10, July 10, and October 16.
- Grants will be awarded until available funds are exhausted.
- $1500 cap per calendar year, per organization
Grant Amounts: The amount of funding awarded depends on the amount requested and the available balance in the Grants budget upon time of the application’s review. Cap received/year is $1500
Grant Areas:
- $1500 Community - programming to support the growth of tennis through summer camps, open play, social activities, adapted tennis, etc
- Organizations apply for grants and if they have a vehicle of getting money to their athlete, they can use funds to attend events and tournaments such as Heartland Challenge and other tournaments. Grant money goes to organization and organization can decide what to do with it via accountability form.
- $500 Provider Innovation - for providers to promote existing USTA programs such as JTT, Junior Team Challenges, Red Ball Tennis, etc.
- $500 equipment
Accountability: Grant recipients must return an ON-LINE accountability form at the completion of their event/programming session, by November 15, 2026. One accountability form should be completed for each grant award received per calendar year. Grant recipients will receive half of the grant award when grant is approved and the second half when the accountability form is completed.
- Grant recipients will be given the link to the accountability form when notified of the grant award.
- Some grants may be be paid at 100% upfront.
- An accountability form must be submitted to be considered for grants in the future.
