New England Community Tennis Grants
We are proud to offer two categories of community grants:
Game Changer Grants Criteria
Community Champions Grants Criteria
USTA New England provides grant funding support to initiatives that invest in the New England tennis community. Applying organizations must be a non-profit or apply in partnership with a nonprofit to be considered. Individual grants are available through the USTA New England Grants common application.
To be eligible for a USTA New England Grant, you must comply with the below conditions:
- Application is aligned with USTA New England’s mission to promote the growth of tennis and inspire healthy communities throughout New England.
- Application is closely aligned with USTA New England’s Strategic Pillars (See here).
- Organizations seeking support must be a USTA organizational member (View USTA Membership) for more information - membership is free).
- All staff and volunteers working in connection with the program or initiative must be registered Net Generation providers and Safe Play Approved if working with anyone 18 years of age or younger.
- The project or initiative must impact the New England community.
- Applying entity must be an established 501(c)(3). The entity applying is permitted to work in partnership with a for-profit organization. If the applying entity is applying in partnership with a for-profit entity, a signed Memorandum of Agreement between partners is required in order to receive funding.
- Applying entity must have all prior grant accountability forms submitted before being considered for a new grant request.
- Applying entity must not have received Game Changer Grant funding within the last two years (Game Changer Grant only).
- Applying entity must have all prior grant accountability forms submitted before being considered for a new grant request (Community Champion Grant only).
- The lead organization must have an annual operating budget of $1M or less (Community Champion Grant only).

Application Cycle Dates and Information
Effective March 16, 2026, grant applications will remain open through August 31.
Cycle 1: March 16 – 31 — supports summer programming and initiatives
Cycle 2: July 1 – August 31 — supports fall and winter programming
The USTA New England Grants Committee and representatives from respective State Associations will collaboratively review grant applications.
