PACIFIC NORTHWEST SCHOLARSHIPS & ASSISTANCE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST

PACIFIC NORTHWEST

SCHOLARSHIPS

The United States Tennis Association - Pacific Northwest (USTA PNW) believes that the sport of tennis should be accessible and free of any barriers to entry, including financial restraints, to every individual living in the Pacific Northwest. To this end, the USTA PNW has expanded their local scholarship opportunities to provide need-based financial support to players in the Pacific Northwest who would not otherwise have the financial means to participate.

Tennis is fun.  Tennis is a lifelong sport.  Tennis should be available to all - regardless of ability, age or financial means.  Don't allow cost to prevent you from learning or playing tennis. Scholarships are available for the following USTA Pacific Northwest programs:

RecTennis - Recreational tennis summer camps and year-round programs in local parks and schools for youth and adults.

Youth Tennis Programming  - Youth/Junior programs at Galbraith Tennis Center (Tacoma, WA) and Vancouver Tennis Center.

Junior Competition  - Financial assistance for expenses related to official USTA Junior competition participation.

Adult Competition - Financial assistance for expenses related to official USTA Adult competition participation.

Submit our online application form today.

The USTA/PNW has established a written award procedure, uses a committee to approve all policies and guidelines, has a formal application process, has mechanisms for reconciling disputes, and maintains strict records retention procedures to ensure all scholarships are awarded fairly and evenly for eligible individuals that apply.  Upon submission of an application, it will be reviewed by the USTA PNW Scholarship committee who will render their decision within a reasonable and customary timeframe .
