National Championships quotas released
USTA announced new sectional quotas for 2024 USTA National Championships.

Southern boys capture back-to-back Battle of the Sections
USTA Southern Boys' 16s and 18s won its second consecutive Battle of the Sections. The eight-boy squad downed USTA Eastern in the final 5-2. Southern advanced to the final with a 5-2 victory over USTA Texas.
The matches were played in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The boys' team members and coaches are 16s - Lucas Smith, Graeme Angus, Anthony Dry and Theo Hegarty. 18s - Houston Jacques, Charlie Burdell, Jack Di Menna and Gordon Gallagher.
The girls team, captained by former pro Melanie Oudin (center in photo below), finished sixth. The team consisted of 16s Andi Anderson, Jensen Diianni, Carlota Moreno and Sophiea Miller. The 18s were Franchesac Brown, Elizabeth Fauchet, Briley Rhoden and Mary Cain Webster.
Level 4 Team Sectional Showdown (Intersectional Event) - July 26-28
USTA Southern, USTA Texas, USTA Nor Cal and USTA Eastern are holding a Level 4 Intersectional Team Event for the 12s-18s.
USTA Nor Cal will hold the 18s
USTA Southern will hold the 16s in Chattanooga, Tenn.
USTA Texas will hold the 14s
USTA Eastern will hold the 12s
Each section will have six players (three boys and three girls) for each age division.
Sections compete against each other
Level 2 Florida/Southern Challenge - Oct. 25-27
Southern will be hosting the Boys & Girls 16s and 18s for this year’s Florida Southern Challenge Team in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The Boys & Girls 12s and 14s will be in Daytona Beach, Fla.
