Wimbledon Photo Gallery: Americans in London
Team USA advanced 18 players into the second round of Wimbledon, the most since 2006. And USTA.com's Ashley Marshall was there to capture the action.

- Donald Young topped Denis Istomin in Round 1 to earn a Day 3 matchup with Rafael Nadal.
- No. 17 seed Madison Keys cruised into the second round with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Japan’s Nao Hibino.
- Sam Querrey is into the third round with wins over Italy’s Thomas Fabbiano and Nikoloz Basilashvili.
- Five-time champion Venus Williams staved off Elise Mertens to advance to the second round.
- CiCi Bellis stretched former world No. 1 Victoria Azarenka to three sets in her Wimbledon main-draw debut.
- Steve Johnson defeated Nicolas Kicker in straight sets to advance to Round 2.
- Madison Brengle earned her first Wimbledon main-draw win by besting Richel Hogenkamp.
- Top-ranked U.S. man Jack Sock advanced to Round 2 in four sets over Christian Garin of Chile.
- No. 24 seed CoCo Vandeweghe defeated Mona Barthel of Germany in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2.
- Taylor Fritz fell to John Isner in the lone all-American men's matchup of Round 1.
- Isner and Fritz meet at the net following Isner's straight-sets victory.
- Christina McHale advanced with a three-set victory over Katie Boulter.
- Alison Riske defeated fellow American Sloane Stephens to move into the second round.
- In another all-American affair, Shelby Rogers topped Julia Boserup in three sets.
- Ryan Harrison pulled into Round 2 with an impressive, straight-sets victory over rising star Borna Coric.
- Qualifier Irina Falconi put a scare into top seed Angelique Kerber before bowing out, 6-4, 6-4.
- Rising star Frances Tiafoe had one of Day 2's big wins, topping grass-court veteran Robin Haase.
- World doubles No. 1 Bethanie Mattek-Sands showed her stuff in singles, advancing to Round 2.
