In the USTA Pro Circuit's Australian Open Wild Card Challenge, the American man and American woman who earn the most ATP World Tour and WTA ranking points at two of three select USTA Pro Circuit tournaments this fall will receive wild cards to compete in the 2017 Australian Open main draw. The Australian Open Wild Card Challenge consists of the following events:
 
USTA Pro Circuit Men’s Events:
 
  • $50,000 Charlottesville, Va. (week of Oct. 31)
  • $50,000 Knoxville, Tenn. (week of Nov. 7)
  • $50,000 Champaign, Ill. (week of Nov. 14)
 
USTA Pro Circuit Women’s Events:
 
  • $50,000 Macon, Ga. (week of Oct. 24)
  • $50,000 Scottsdale, Ariz. (week of Oct. 31)
  • $50,000 Waco, Texas (week of Nov. 7)
