Mike Bryan, Jack Sock named ITF World Champions

Arthur Kapetanakis | December 12, 2018

After finishing the year at No. 1 and No. 2 in the ATP doubles rankings, respectively, Mike Bryan and Jack Sock have been named ITF World Champions in men’s doubles.

The new-look pairing materialized after a hip injury sidelined Bob Bryan for the second half of the year, and in just their second tournament as a team, Bryan and Sock won the Wimbledon doubles title with a five-set final victory. The dynamic duo made it two straight Grand Slam titles at the US Open and capped the year and their partnership with a third top-tier trophy at the ATP Finals in London.

With the Bryan brothers set to reunite on court in 2019, the Bryan-Sock pairing picked up one last honor, in being named ITF World Champions.
