The USTA will award a singles main-draw wild card into the 2017 French Open to the winner of the Roland Garros Wild Card Challenge.

For the men, the wild card will be given to a player based on his performance in any professional outdoor clay (Har-Tru or red) Challenger tour-level events and above in the world during a four-week time period: the weeks of April 10, 17, 24 and May 1.

For the women, the wild card will be awarded based on performance in a series of USTA Pro Circuit $60,000-and-above events during the weeks of April 10, 17, 24 and May 1.

The American man and woman who earn the highest total of cumulative ATP and WTA (main draw only for women) singles ranking points from their best two results will receive the wild cards. See the men's fact sheet and women's fact sheet  for more information.
