DAVIS CUP TIE
April 10, 2017
With more than 115 years of tradition, Davis Cup is the premier team competition in men’s professional tennis as well as the largest annual international team competition in the world. The USTA oversees the United States’ participation in Davis Cup, including the organization of home ties.
The most recent Davis Cup home tie on American soil was the 2017 World Group first-round match against Switzerland, played in February 2017. The U.S. Davis Cup Team will open its 2018 campaign away against Serbia, Feb. 2-4, 2018. With a win, the U.S. is guaranteed a home tie in the quarterfinals, April 6-8, 2018, against either Belgium or Hungary.
With an eye toward being ready to host the quarterfinals in April, we are now actively looking for cities/venues interested in hosting this tie. Click here for the latest RFP to see how your city or venue can bring the next Davis Cup tie to your area.
