HOST A DAVIS CUP TIE

With more than 115 years of tradition, Davis Cup is the premier team competition in men’s professional tennis as well as the largest annual international team competition in the world. The USTA oversees the United States’ participation in Davis Cup, including the organization of home ties.

The most recent Davis Cup home tie on American soil was the 2020 qualifying match against Uzbekistan, played in March 2020. By virtue of their 4-0 victory, Team USA qualified for the Davis Cup Finals, which were later postponed due to COVID-19.

The U.S. will compete in the 2021 finals, set for Nov. 25-Dec. 5, in La Caja Magica in Madrid, Spain.

Should the U.S. not automatically qualify for the 2022 finals by reaching the semis at this year's event, there is the potential for another U.S. home tie in 2022. For prospective enquiries or more information, contact Manager, Major Events Operations Kevin Paczesny here.
