HOST A

FED CUP TIE

October 17, 2018

With decades of rich tradition, Fed Cup is the premier team competition in women’s professional tennis as well as the largest annual women's international team competition in the world. The USTA oversees the United States’ participation in Fed Cup, including the organization of home ties.

Even though the U.S. Fed Cup Team is preparing to travel to the Czech Republic to compete in the 2018 Fed Cup Finals, we are looking for cities/venues interested in hosting a future home tie.

Due to rule changes and enhancements to the worldwide Fed Cup competition, the U.S., as a 2018 finalist, has invoked its option to host the first-round home tie against Australia in February 2019. Should the U.S. and Belarus both advance, Team USA would host the semifinal tie on April 21-21, 2019, a rematch of the 2017 final that was held in Minsk.
