USTA Coaches Workshop
On March 7, 2019 tennis trainers from the Caribbean Section were invited to participate in the Team USA Coaches Workshop, offered by the USTA at the Centro de Tenis Honda in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
José Caballero and Kurt Clemmons from the USTA, led the group of 28 coaches during this 4-hour training that included on-court demonstrations, examples of different types of practice sessions, tips and resources for player development.
This opportunity served as continuing education for new and experienced coaches as a tool to help them further their development as teachers.
