2019 Annual Awards Dinner Photo Gallery
On Saturday, January 26, USTA Eastern held its Annual Awards Dinner, an event in which the organization honors local leaders who have dedicated their lives to growing tennis in their communities. Mark McIntyre, the Executive Director of the Riverside Clay Tennis Association in New York, N.Y., was awarded the prestigious Leslie FitzGibbon Tennis Man of the Year, while Sunny Fishkind, the current tennis camp director at Hofstra University and a longtime Long Island tennis coach, was named Tennis Woman of the Year. The Garden State Tennis Center received Organization of The Year kudos; the center has produced 14 New Jersey State Champions in the last 15 years, with two of their players winning the title twice. And the Davis family (Dylan, Deborah, Evan and Zoe) was recognized as Family of the Year for their commitment to promoting the sport in their hometown of Selkirk, N.Y. The event was hosted by former WNBA player Kym Hampton. Click through to see photos of this year's honorees.
