2019 Tri-Level Sectional Results
USTA Eastern’s Tri-Level league sectional championships were held January 19-20 at Lifetime Athletic in White Plains, N.Y. The annual competition allows players of varying levels –3.5, 4.0 and 4.5—to play together on the same team. After some fierce on-court battles, two teams—one men's and one women's—emerged victorious.
On the men’s side, the Buffalo, N.Y.-based Western Region team—captained by Geoffrey Becker—took top honors, defeating the New Jersey Region team in the final.
On the women’s side, the Long Island Region team—captained by Shannon Blue—also outlasted the New Jersey Region to claim the title.
Both teams now advance to the National Tri-Level Championships, to be held March 14-17 at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens.
