Two Teams Secure Nationals Spot at 2022 JTT Sectional Championships

The USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) Sectional and State Championships were held at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla. on June 4 and 5. With 25 teams in attendance, the competition was fierce as multiple divisions were up for grabs.

 

Green and yellow ball competition was played and featured age groups from 12-years-old up to 18-years-old.

 

Two teams punched their ticket to Nationals by winning their division in the Sectional Championships. The Tampa Eagles took home the 14-and-Under Sectional division, while Miami Chihuahuaz Azul won the 18-and-Under draw.

 

Winning teams of the State Championships took home the honors of best in Florida for their division.
