USTA Florida Amps Up 2021 Tournament Promotion

All USTA Florida sanctioned adult, youth and wheelchair tournaments scheduled for January-March 2021 are now accessible via the USTAFlorida.com website calendar and app, empowering parents and players to search for events by date, city and facility. The online calendar is accessible from the USTA Florida app (available on all Apple and Android devices) making it easier for consumers to find tournaments and access direct registration links. USTA Florida will be promoting all events on its various online communications channels throughout the coming months to help parents and providers navigate the transition to a new tournament structure and platform.

“Our Florida players and providers have been vocal about the need for us to do a better job promoting our new tournaments and they have asked for an easy way to access event information and registration. We have the digital tools to respond to these needs, and I’m happy to see us using them more fully,” explained Laura Bowen, USTA Florida Executive Director.

“We spent a lot of time re-vamping our USTA Florida app this fall for exactly this reason. We know that consumers want to access information easily without having to search on a web site or click on multiple links. Our app provides that ease of navigation, along with access to additional information that is most important to our players and providers,” said Stefan Burnett, USTA Florida Marketing Manager.

The USTAFlorida.com web calendar is accessible on desktop or mobile device via direct link www.USTAFlorida.com/events. Users can display a calendar or list view, and they can search for events by category, city, facility, organizer and event type.

For users who aren’t keen on using a browser to access the calendar, the USTA Florida App is a great choice. Simply visit the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and search for USTA Florida. Once you download the app, select VIEW USTA FLORIDA TOURNAMENTS from the home page or select TOURNAMENTS INFO from the sidebar menu. Tap the icons for direct access to the USTA Florida calendar of tournaments, quick access to tournament structure/points information, and the USTA main tournament search.
