USTA Florida Hosting Community Events During NCAA DI, DII, DIII Championships at National Campus
The 2023 NCAA Division I, II, & III Men’s and Women’s Championships are coming to the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona on May 11 through May 27. Teams from across the country will be competing to become National Champions.
Florida has 10 teams participating in the tournament in Division I. In the Men’s Draw, the University of Florida, Florida State University, Florida Gulf Coast University all made the bracket. On the Women’s side, the University of Central Florida, University of Miami, Florida International University, Florida State University, Florida A&M, The University of Florida, and University of North Florida.
In the first round for Women’s play, UF matches up against UNF, meaning at least one Florida team is guaranteed to continue on in their quest for the trophy. You can view the schedule here and full draws by clicking the links below.

On top of these matches, USTA Florida is hosting community events at the National Campus throughout the weeks of competition. These events are:
- Net Generation Kids’ Day: May 13
- Military Appreciation: May 15
- Lake Nona Nights: May 16-19
- College Seminar: May 19
Kids’ Day is entirely free and is taking place on Saturday, May 13 from 12:30 PM until 3:30 PM. Bring your kids out so they can enjoy a few hours of on-court fun and games, family activities, and more.
The Military Appreciation Day on Monday, May 15, is a special event for Veterans and Active Military Service Members to enjoy on-court fun and be honored at the NCAA Championship.
Another series you won’t want to miss, especially if you’re in the Central Florida area, includes the Lake Nona Nights events. May 16 is Ladies Night, where women can meet up, play, eat, and socialize with other women in the tennis community. On May 17, there will be League Celebration night, where we encourage you to come out with your league teams and enjoy some tennis and fun. Finally, May 18 plays host to Beat & Bites, a night full of music, dancing, and of course lots of fun!
Some other events that are taking place during the NCAA National Championships are the ITA Coaches' Convention (May 17-20), ITA Men's Tennis Hall of Fame Ceremony (May 21), and the National Level 2 Boys' and Girls' 16s Championships (May20-22).
