USTA Florida Hosting Family Day in Conjunction with 2023 Billie Jean King Cup
The 2023 Billie Jean King Cup is just a week away and USTA Florida is inviting everyone out to the tennis courts to enjoy some fun tennis activities with their loved ones.
The organization will be hosting a Family Day on Saturday, April 15 at 12:30 PM and registration is still open for this can’t-miss opportunity to spend quality time together on the courts.
Family Day is set to be an action-packed, hour-long event, consisting of many different activities for everyone, regardless of age or skill, to enjoy with one another. From mini-court doubles fun to Queen & King of the Court, the afternoon is certain to put a smile on everyone’s face.
Instead of competitive match play, Family Day puts an emphasis on drills, games, and other fun on court activities that players of all ages or ability can play together. This is a great opportunity for fans of the sport to take a break from the matches and enjoy some quality time together with people they care about and play the game that we all share a deep passion for.
Additionally, all participants will receive tickets to the Billie Jean King Cup matches that begin at 2 PM, on that Saturday. Team USA, represented by recent Miami Open Doubles Champions, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula, with Florida natives Danielle Collins and Sonia Kenin, will take on Team Austria. You won’t want to miss out on any of the action.
There are limited spots available for USTA Florida’s Family Day, with over 40 people already signed up to participate. Sign up online right now or reach out to Marcy Cohen at cohen@ustaflorida.com with any questions.
In addition to Family Day, USTA Florida is hosting other events in conjunction with the 2023 Billie Jean King Cup. Registration is still open to participate in the USTA Level 1 All-Women Coaching Workshop.
