Girls Rule the Court at the Citi Open
This week six participants from our Mid-Atlantic Girls Rule the Court™ program from Baltimore, Maryland, and Sterling, Virginia had an experience of a lifetime on stadium court at the Citi Open in Washington, D.C. Not only did they have a chance to watch incredible tennis from some of the top players in the world, they also had an exclusive one-on-one experience escorting players onto the court for their match, as well as being the exclusive coin tosser.
Two Girls Rule the Court players served as escorts for Simona Halep and Anna Kalinskaya, while the third was the official coin tosser for the 4 P.M. match on Wednesday, August 3. In addition, three additional participants had the opportunity to escort and be the official coin tosser for Frances Tiafoe and Chris Eubanks during their nailbiting match at 7 P.M.
